Hello Guuuys :)
I'm ready here to talk about a seriously amazing episode of Pretty Little Liars again! I was already expecting the episode to be bigger than the previous 4 episodes because Marlene King already revealed that this episode would bring some answers from her twitter account which you can access through the link below.
I don't want to speak too much before getting into the episode soooo...
Let's Dive In!!
PS: I'm listening to the songs played during this episode right now. They were really amazing choices for the episode, go check them out if you haven't already!
Again:
ATTENTION!
After this point, for the ones who did not see the new episode, I will give some strong SPOILERS. Please don't continue to read if you don't want to see a spoiler.
For this episode, I wrote down some points I wanted to mention. As always, this episode was not full of different actions. It was based on some big subjects and those subjects were the followings:
- "What were Mr. Hastings and Melissa doing the night that Mrs. DiLaurentis was killed?"
and
-"Can Alison actually be trusted?"
These two questions are the main subjects of the episodes of Season 5 so far. In the meantime, this episode also brought some good questions. Let's talk about them.
1. Who was following Alison outside with a car? Who was the one whose shadow was seen clearly behind Alison in front of the church?
We know that Mona was inside the church but we don't know if she is the one we saw outside. I said this in all of my reviews so far and I will repeat again. They displayed at the end of the episode that Mona is working with Sydney and Jenna. Therefore we already know that there is an army of Mona and Jenna against Alison. What I believe is that the real -A or the real evil group of people is not that army we were introduced to. I think they or he/she will be the biggest reveal at the end of the show. Clearly, Alison has many enemies. We all know that anything can happen when it comes to PLL, soooo... I really have no idea to whom those shadows may belong...
2. Who is Bethany Young?
Oh! I was waiting for a recognisable name to be revealed by the police sooooo bad! Who in the world is Bethany Young? It's not the name that we should focus on in my opinion. She was in RADLEY! That's the key point about this girl and when I think of Radley without interfering Spencer and Mona with it, the one that comes to my mind is Toby's mother. We know that she was pushed by another Radley patient. This girl may be that patient. Also, since the new girl Sydney has suddenly come from nowhere, I believe that she may have a connection with Bethany Young because she is working against Alison now. This might be her taking revenge from Alison.
Another theory might be that Bethany Young is actually the twin of Alison. We already saw Mrs. DiLaurentis at Radley a few times. Maybe she was checking Bethany. Also, did you realise that Alison couldn't remember where the student guidance office was. I think it might be a clue for this Alison to be the twin that has never came to Rosewood High before but it's really hard to believe of course. Who knows...
3. Do Alison and Caleb know each other ?
Ok. All the comments about the new episode is full of the idea of Caleb and Alison knowing each other before because of the look they shared when they meet during the reveal of "Bethany Young". Actually, I knew Caleb might stare at Alison like that because I read an interview of Tyler Blackburn (aka Caleb). He said that it's natural for Caleb to be cautious towards Alison because he still has an instinct for protecting Hanna. What he knows about Alison so far is all bad stuff (at least according to what we saw). I think the look they shared was because of this situation. However, I'm not saying that there is a possibility of them knowing each other already? Or maybe Caleb is in the -A business? Who knows? It's PLL guys...
4. Are Ali's feelings for Emily real? Can the girls trust Ali?
We saw some real hookups this episode right ? Well, the weather was really rainy that day so I didn't mind the heat the episode brought :P
Alison revealed that she has feelings for Emily too and the two spent a night together in Alison's bed (!). However, we saw that Alison is still capable of behaving the way she was in the past. She lied to the girls about a little situation that wouldn't cause any problem if she said the truth I believe. Let me tell you, we all saw her look towards Mona in the church. I mean, she is Alison! I don't believe she can change that much. She is still has that bad personality somewhere inside. Maybe she is hiding it intentionally or maybe she is really afraid. I really want to believe that she is afraid but the other possibility is higher I'm afraid.
5. Who was the one that Mona - Sydney - Jenna trio waiting for at the end of the episode?
Those three totally looked at someone coming towards them. Who that person might be? I think there are so many possibilities. Lucas? Melissa? Paige? Caleb? Jason? or Toby?
He/she might be anyone who wants Alison to go away (away from the girls or themselves)...
Final Question
6. Why was Toby's House targeted? Can the fire leave this kid alone?
Poor Toby (or bad Toby we don't know) again faces with fire in his house. Why was his house was the target? Right after the name "Bethany Young" was revealed? I thought maybe he was targeted because of the connection of Bethany and his mother but I cannot say that it's a good theory. We definitely need some more clues about this girl to clear so many stuff.
Just like always we have seen an amazing episode and it brought some more questions with a few little answers (maybe not even answers). Anyway we got used to that right? I love how complicated things are in PLL that we cannot even guess anything. We throw some theories and love doing that but again we cannot be sure of anything. It's PLL and it's going reaaaally amazing this season. Hope you liked reading this long, filled-with-theories review of the new episode. I personally love doing this and I'm planning to continue doing this for a while. See you in another blog post :)
