Volendam Last Week London Next Week

Hi everyone!

I've been sooooo busy this week with packing my stuff in the dormitory and getting ready for another country. 11th of August is the day I will be leaving Amsterdam and go back to Turkey but we wanted to see London before we leave Europe. This week I will be in London and hopefully I will be back with a London Haul blogpost for you :)

Also this week's PLL review will come next week as well as the next week's episode review.Wait for it guys :)

Before I leave for one week, I want to talk about a little trip we took last week. There is one of the world's cutest villages near Amsterdam called Volendam. We've seen some other places near  Volendam but we actually went there last week for the first time. I cannot even explain how cute and peaceful it was. It's a little seaside village with little cute houses. It's also one of the major touristic places near Amsterdam. If you go there, don't miss the little souvenir shops because they sell the cutest things ever like little baby statues for your homes with different faces. There are also some photo shops for people to get a photo in Dutch traditional costumes which was around 15 euros for one photo I guess. If you want to visit Volendam you can take the buses 110 and 316 from the first floor of Centraal Station in Amsterdam.

You can see some photos below I took in Volendam :) See you in a week guys...

One of the best places to sit and relax with your loved ones :)

What you see behind the iron fence was actually the canal
but it was covered with green pieces fallen from the trees...
It was a beautiful view :)

How cute is this neighbourhood guys! I literally fall in love with Volendam...

I would love to live in this area...
It was so peaceful that all I could hear was my own voice.

Little mannequin in traditional Dutch costume :)
You can see this cute mannequin in Cheese Factory Volendam shop if you visit Volendam...

I want to have that boat including the puppies :)

Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 7 "The Silence of E. Lamb" Review

Hi Guys :)
We have a brand new episode to review and I'm again so excited about it as you can guess... This time I took notes while watching the episode and I feel like they work better to review it afterwards. So let's cut the crap and dive into those notes :)

ATTENTION!
After this point, just saying for the ones who have not seen the new episode yet that I will give some strong SPOILERS. Please don't continue to read if you don't want to see a spoiler.

- Emily's mom invited the girls (especially Alison) for dinner.
Let me explain my thoughts during this scene. At first I thought Mrs. Fields was thinking that Alison is lying about all her "being kidnapped" story. Then when I saw them in the dining table, I started to think that there may be some connection between Alison and Mrs. Fields because they went to the kitchen together obviously talked about something there. Also while eating dinner, Mrs. Fields looked like she is not suspicious about Alison's behaviours at all which surprised me actually. I expect the girls' moms to be suspicious about anything related to Alison because they knew about the old A stories (not with every aspects but you understood what I mean I think). Anyway, after Alison left Emily's home, when Mrs. Fields asked Emily not to struggle for saving Alison anymore, I thought that she may be hiding her own emotions in front of Ali. I don't know what to think about her in the end :)

- Sydney meets Alison.
I believe Sydney is definitely related to Bethany Young. She may be her sister or her twin which is unlikely because Bethany looks like Alison. In the end it is certain that she is another evil to add to the "bad list".

- "Boy" word is written around the dead rat Paige found.
I really couldn't find any rationality between this word and the situation of Paige. If someone did, please explain it in the comments. It was some weird scene that didn't make sense to me at all. The only thing caught my attention was the connection between Mona and Noel. This may mean two things. First is that Noel may be helping Mona about Alison. Second is that Noel may be helping Alison mess with Mona which makes more sense to me because Noel was hanging with Mona in the beginning but he is Alison's supporter in the end.

- Alison meets Caleb.
It was cute that Caleb acts suspicious when it comes to Alison. He always tries to protect Hannah. He is such a cutie :) Yes, I ship Haleb :)

- Ezra said "You'll be the first one" to Spencer.
Ezra said this when they talked about moving on from all these A stuff. I don't know why but this sentence sounded weird to me like there is a meaning under it. Anyway, I don't trust Ezra and I get suspicious about anything related to him. This may be another suspicious moment of mine.

- Melissa's rat vs. Paige's rat ?
I was thinking that Melissa was the one who put a rat in their garage. Then she found the rat herself and showed it to Spencer. That was the moment I started to think that Melissa may be playing a role in front of Spencer. We saw how she acts inside Mona's "AlisonHaters" club. She cries and gets emotional in front of Spencer which I don't find real at all.

- Bethany hated Mrs. DiLaurentis.
Loos like Bethany Young saw Mrs. DiLaurentis push Toby's mom from the window or covered the one who actually did it. For this reason, Bethany hated Mrs. DiLaurentis. It's weird that they don't show her face on TV ever and I feel like it's because she is the twin of a character we are all familiar with.

- Melissa looked upset when Spencer mentioned Bethany Young.
She even said that they all do something they regret. I don't know if I should believe her. She may have done something bad related to Bethany such as killing her. She may be the one that killed her and gave the idea of Spencer may be the one to their parents' minds.

- Spencer saw Alison in different clothes in front of their garage.
I immediately thought that she was the twin. Then I thought maybe Alison was the one playing with rats to scare Paige who may be a threat for Emison relationship (Emily-Alison). That doesn't explain why she changed her clothes that quick. I think the one Spencer saw may actually be the twin sister of Alison, the one that Mrs DiLaurentis "couldn't protect anymore".

I feel like the only one that acts rational about whole Alison story is Hanna and they started to blame her in the end of the episode. The are all blinded by Alison...
I guess we will see the engagement party of Mona's mom and her fiancé. A will be there of course. An exciting episode will meet us this week. Hope you liked looking through my point of view. See you in another review :)

Tangle Teezer Review

Hello Everyone!

I've been a super fan of one product lately and it's Tangle Teezer as you can guess by reading the title of this post. I know I'm really late for using this cute and unbelievably effective brush but better than never right? :)

I bought Tangle Teezer from Douglas in Kalverstraat / Amsterdam about three weeks ago. I usually wait for a couple of days to try something I just purchased. I don't know why, I just like to hold them in their packages :) I tried it for the first time after taking a shower when my hair was still wet. Normally, in that sate my hair behaves like puzzle that cannot be solved and I really spend time for brushing it without damaging too much. As you can tell, whatever you do, your hair gets damaged while brushing.

Of course I read so many wonderful comments about Tangle Teezer and it was in my list of things I want to buy for a long time. Unfortunately it was hard to find it in Turkey and I didn't spend time to order it from other countries because I was thinking about finding it in Amsterdam. However, I realised that it is still hard to find in Amsterdam and I got upset :( Then when I was on plane to Italy with Transavia Airlines, they were selling it on the plane but since I was gonna travel three different cities with my backpack, I didn't have enough space for carrying it unfortunately.

Three weeks ago I saw a brand new stand prepared just for Tangle Teezer products in Douglas! You can imagine my excitement when I saw those cute brushes in packages. I immediately purchased the original model and removed that from my list :)

Yes, it is really fabulous and the colours are so cute :)

As I said, I tried it on my wet hair and I cannot even explain how amazing it was. It brushed my hair like flying on air without facing with any obstacles. I showed it to my boyfriend and he tried it on his hair too with the same excitement :) Next week he purchased another one for his mother :)

If you are late to use Tangle Teezer like me and still haven't purchased it or didn't think about that... I'm shouting towards you that you SHOULD! It's the most amazing hair product I've ever used and seen people using... I know that I may reach people who haven't tried it yet so I wanted to post a review of it. Hope you will find the perfect brush for your hair type :) See you in another blog post...

Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Episode 6 "Run Ali Run" Review

Helloooo Guys :)

I know this is a little (just 2 days) late for another Wednesdays with PLL review but let's pretend like it's still Wednesday :) Sooo, let's jump in the episode!

Again:
ATTENTION!
(It always feels like listening to Salute by Little Mix at this point:))
After this point, just saying for the ones who have not seen the new episode yet that I will give some strong SPOILERS. Please don't continue to read if you don't want to see a spoiler.

Last episode, we saw a lot of action scenes so I wasn't expecting much from this following episode to be honest. There were just some points that attracted my attention which I will be talking about in a minute. Before those points, I think I noticed something in one of the pictures shared by the PLL account on Instagram which you can find from the link below.
Official PLL Instagram Account

Also for the picture I'm mentioning :

I believe I'm seeing "A" written behind Aria on the wall. I wrote this as a comment as soon as I realised it but when I looked again to see if there is any reply from others I couldn't find my comment because It was deleted (I think). I thought there maybe a problem about my internet connection when I posted the comment and wrote the same comment for the second time. Guess what? It got deleted too. I really don't know if they deleted those tweets or something else happened but I'm actually nearly sure that I did posted those comments successfully. I saw the comments after posting them but when I waited and looked again, they were gone... Anyways.. The important info here is that I really believe my eyes are seeing an "A" letter behind Aria there. I couldn't find that scene by the way. If you can find it please leave a comment below :)

After we saw Toby's house in fire, we heard some phones for incoming text messages. I was hoping that the message would be delivered to all those people standing there (including Toby, Ezra and Caleb) not just the girls because I wanted to see them in the "victim group" as well. However, again the message was delivered to the girls only. Obviously, A is back guys... But we already knew that right?

Alison received a video message from A displaying the moments of someone burying her mom. I really couldn't find Alison's facial expressions realistic enough in that scene. I don't trust her and I think I'm never be able to trust her...

Last season when a follower asked Marlene King to give a clue about Big A, she replied "3B". We saw 3B in this episode (we have seen it before too). 3B is the door number of Ezra's apartment but unfortunately I don't have any idea about what its importance might be.

Caleb said Hana that "A doesn't miss a shoot". So what was the goal behind burning Toby's house if she doesn't miss? I already have cautious eyes towards Toby but "what might the connection between Toby and A team be" is totally a new question.

There is one thing that disappointed me in this episode unfortunately... Emily had plenty of chances to see the face of the one who tried to kill Alison with her scarf. She just didn't attempt to uncover his face... I can't stand scenes like this. Of course there must be a lot of questions in a TV show scenario to be answered but they should be answered more often in PLL in my opinion. I got upset when the episode ended because there was nearly nothing important in it.

The last thing I want to mention is Eddie Lamb. Why didn't he give the picture to Spencer? We thought Eddie was trying to help Ezra when we saw him dropping the bomb in front of Ezra's door. Maybe he is in one of the bad teams (A or Mona's team are different in my opinion). We cannot trust anyone in PLL, I mean it. Maybe he is a good guy just trying to help but then there is a reason for not giving the picture to Spencer.. Maybe Spencer's family (dad or mom or both) somehow connected to Radley and Eddie doesn't want them to learn something? That's just an idea I came up with right now :) Anyway, I saw in the promo of next episode that we will learn some more about Eddie Lamb situation because Aria finally goes into A business by herself and starts to work in Radley as a volunteer ! Let's watch her facial expressions in each scene this time because everyone thinks she may be the big A.

Soooo... I wish upon a star that in the next episode we will get some answers :) See you next week with a brand new PLL episode!

Summer Loving Tag : My Favourites for Summer 2014

Hey Everyone!

It's finally heating up in Amsterdam and we get to see the sun more and more each day... Before I came I've read a lot of comments saying that it rains a lot in Amsterdam but I wasn't expecting this much... Anyway, if you live in a city this beautiful, the fact that it rains a lot doesn't matter that much I believe :)

A view from the lovely Amsterdam I took today :)

The "Summer Lovin' Tag" became trendy these days and I wanted to do one. I'm not a very summer-lovin' person actually (sssh :)) because it becomes reaaaally hot in Turkey in summer and I don't like that much heat... However, since I am experiencing a lot cooler weather in summer this year, I'm enjoying every bit of it. Sooo... Here are my summer favourites :)

1. Summer lipstick you're loving?

Rimmel Kate Lipstick 03! I love love love this lipstick! I actually hardly like a lipstick but this one is exactly what I want... Rimmel is really good at lipsticks and looks like I'm gonna be addicted to the Kate Lipstick 03 :)

This is how it looks on my lips :) I really love it!

2. Summer nail polish you're loving?
Actually this colour became trendy this or last winter I guess but I love how light and bright it looks. I love to wear this colour in summer as well. It is Flormar number 423. I don't know if you have Flormar in your country but they have cool colours and they are not so expensive as well. If you don't have Flormar, I think the colour looks like "Little Duck" from Tanya Burr's nail polish collection which you can find by using the link below :) However, I think Little Duck has a little green tone in it while Flormar is closer to light blue.

Tanya Burr Nail Polish "Little Duck"

This is how Flormar 423 looks like on my nails :)

3. Bikini you're loving this summer?
Last year I purchased this bikini after I loved it at first sight but unfortunately I couldn't find a chance to wear it yet. Of course it's my favourite this year anyway :) It's the first bikini I purchased from "Penti". Normally I prefer some other brands which are famous about swimwear but when I saw this bikini I really liked it and it wasn't expensive sooo who can resist that right? :) You can find Penti's USA online store from the link below...

Penti USA Online Store

You can see the bikini top's picture below. I think I have an addiction to red bikinis because I always choose red coloured ones to try first :)

4. Favourite summer Frappuccino from Starbucks?

The one and only Java Chip Frappucino :) It's nearly my must have for summers! I love love love that taste, it never gets old for me. Here's a picture of me enjoying my Java Chip :)

My hair colour looks different in this photo but I loved it!
Maybe I can consider using such colour for highlighting it??

5. Favourite fake tan?
I don't like using fake tan unfortunately... I know I should like using it because my legs looks pale in summer before I have the chance to tan myself. However, I really don't like the feeling of fake tanning products... Who knows maybe I was using wrong products. Let me know in the comments if you recommend a fake tanning product :)

6. Favourite summer song?
Currently I am constantly listening to Me and My Broken Heart by Rixton and singing along. I love that song it's so catchy :)

7. Favourite summer accessory?
One of my summer must haves for I guess 2 years is my sunglasses ! I know Wayfarers are not that trendy anymore but I love them anyway. Mine is Ray-Ban Wayfarer  RB2140 1001/3F. The inside is like a baby blue which is so cute and the outside is the original black colour.

Here's is how it looks on me :)

8. Favourite summer fragrance/perfume?
I actually wasn't a big fan of floral scents but I liked the Calvin Klein In2U fragrance this summer. It's not a heavy fragrance, you wouldn't bother if you smell it 7/24 I think. I've been using it for approximately one month now and I'm loving it :)

This is packaging and the bottle of Calvin Klein In2U

9. Summer book you're loving?
I'm a huge fan of Lea Michele and also a huge fan of reading :) When I heard that she was writing a book, I got excited and jumped in my room for 10 minutes! The book was published in May 2014 I guess and I fortunately found it online in June. It was my birthday month and I was happy with my present :) The book is called "Brunette Ambition". It's not totally a biography, it includes so many other things such as healthy recipes, makeup and beauty tips, fitness exercises so on. I'm reading it slowly to enjoy every bit of it. Also, I'm a big fan of hardback book which makes "Brunette Ambition" even more better.

I love love love this book!

10. What are you most excited to do this summer?
Even though I love living in Amsterdam, I missed my family so so so much that I can't even express it. This was my first time being away from them this long. It was hard for me in the beginning but I got used to live alone (I came with my boyfriend but you know it's not like having your mom and dad beside you :)) Yes, I got used to it but that doesn't mean I don't miss them. I missed them so much and seeing them again when I go back is what I am most excited to do this summer :)

Hope you liked the things I mentioned in this blog post. I will be writing about my current make up favourites soon. Hope to see you more around here, have a great summer holiday :)

A Hot Saturday in Amsterdam

Hello Everyone !

This saturday was one of the sunniest days in Amsterdam. It was hot and the best thing to do in Amsterdam on such days is to lay and relax in Vondelpark:) It is considered as the Central Park of the Netherlands and they are totally right to call it that way.

In the weekends, Vondelpark is full of people enjoying the sun by laying on the beautiful grass and of course doing bbq with their loved ones. Since it's the tourism season, it's a lot more crowded lately. My boyfriend and I decided to go there this saturday to enjoy the sunny day a little bit.

This is a saturday in Vondelpark :) Doesn't look that crowded from this point of view but trust me it gets more and more crowded as you walk towards inside..

This is me and my boyfriend trying (!) to enjoy the sun but we couldn't handle it unfortunately :)
It's a lovely place to spend some time in the weekends but it was sooooo hot that we decided we needed something cold to drink. In summer, when I consider a "cold drink", first thing that comes to my mind is Starbuck Java Chip Frappucino :) It's my favourite frap among all those different kinds. It never gets old guys :) That being said, we went to Starbucks in Leidsplein. The below picture is me happily posing after a cold drink :)

Except the hot weather, it was a great saturday after a busy week at work for us. I'm getting sad when I think about our last 1 month left in Amsterdam :( I loved this city soooooo much that I want to live here so bad... I think I need to get used to the fact that I have to leave and go back to my country :)

Hope you're having amazing summer 2014 memories. Thank you for reading what I want to share with you. Hope to see you more around here :)
